    I think Pass will always be considered among the greats of the industry. He engineers some great stuff. I remember the Threshold years,although I never could afford any of it,being on a construction workers salary,but I could always dream. Really nice interview.

    Great interview, thanks for posting. Just goes to show how down to earth the guy really is, that he is willing to participate in an event such as that and to be interviewed.

    I have had the pleasure of owning several Threshold amplifiers. A few years back I sent Nelson an e-mail at Pass Labs asking how to best bias my 400A. He said he does it by hand--if he can hold his hand on the heatsink for 5 seconds or more--turn the bias pot a bit clockwise. If he can't keep his hand on the heatsink for a count of 5... turn it a bit CCW. Not what I expecting him to say!
