    Hi I came across a box of G.E. 7591A tubes will these work in a st-70 (no mods other than a new Quad cap)

    No, the pinout is different and the tubes are electrically quite different. DO NOT plug them in your amp!

    If they are new or good used you can sell them and buy proper tubes though. Old stock 7591s are scarce and valuable!!

    They are old stock I have tested most of them and there all good. I will have to look into what to do with them.
