Can somebody post the correct wiring order for the Dynakitparts quad cap upgrade:

    80/40/30/20 uf@ 550/600 volt

Its for a VTA70 board in a ST70 amp. I know its been posted before but I can't find the thread. Many Thanks!

Check the photo above. When you install the quad cap make sure that the 80 uF section faces the back of the amp. When you do ..

    1. The 40 section faces LEFT and has TWO connections. A wire coming from pin #8 of the rectifier tube socket and one choke lead.

    2. The 80 section faces the rear of the amp and has FOUR connections. The second choke lead, one RED wire from each output transformer and one end of a jumper wire.

    3. The 20 section faces RIGHT and has TWO connections. One end of the jumper from the 80 section and one end of a 2200 ohm (2 watt or higher)

    4. The 30 section faces towards the FRONT of the amp and has TWO connections. The other end of the 2200 ohm resistor and a wire that will connect to the B+ eyelet on the driver board.

You should also ground with a short wire one of the twist tabs that hold the cap to the chassis to one of the ground lugs just to the left of the quad cap.
