please excuse me for saying this about my own product design, but this is a great product.
Having sold many and built quite a few for customers, I had to have one for myself.
And I had to get a new, better turntable than my 30 year old Dual, nice deal for $400. I can't afford the VPI Scout !!
So here you have it - yes, Roy got one for himself to enjoy!!

    Very nice indeed Roy Smile

What's the turntable? ... it looks very Rega-ish

I see you are an Ortofon fan too ... what made you go for the 2M over a MC?

And does it all feed into an SP-14?

it's the latest Pro-Ject Debut model (Carbon), $400, just a nice, budget priced turntable, my choice over a Rega or MusicHall.
    Pro-Ject Carbon turntable
I see VPI finally has a lower priced alternative to my lust for the Scout, the new Traveler for $1300 w/o cartridge.
For now it's going thru a PH15 into my SP12, soon to be replaced by a new board I'm bringing out,
a cross between the SP12 and SP14 using 6FQ7 tubes. I guess now that secret is out, I'd better order a dozen boards!
But first I've got to finish up 2 more SP14s and 2 more PH15s for customers

    Nice deck, Roy,

I've heard great reports of them, and was just reading a Stereophile review confirming it!

I bought that Ortofon Red for a Technics SP-1300
that was found at a thrift shop for $40 and fixed up.
Had to add a weight to the headshell to get it to balance
but the more I play it,
    the better it sounds!

Man that carbon arm looks cool.

    Cool
