New to the Forum!!
Hello fellow Dynaco junkies! Just wanted to introduce myself and to show my system. I am currently running a pair of SoundLab Dynastat speakers, rebuilt Dynaco Mark III mono blocks, a hand built passive preamp built by a well renowned guy on AudioKarma.org, Ariston RD-80 SL turntable with a Linn Basik LVX arm and an Ortofon 2M Blue cart, Akai GX-365D R2R, Technics 631 cassette deck, and a HRT iStreamer DAC for Pandora all connected with Audioquest interconnects. The combo is heavenly!

Re: New to the Forum!!
New photos with new Linn K-400 cables. There was a noticeable difference after switching to these: The highes were a bit more clear and a much more robust response in the bottom end. They were a bit shorter than the cable I was using so I had to stick them on each end of the cabinet. More symmetrical I supposes...

Thanks! Appreciate the compliments It is a heavenly match for sure, especially after the kids have gone to bed, the lights are turned down low, and there is a vinyl playing in the background while laid back in the recliner enjoying the view presented to me.

Here is a couple pics with some custom made walnut bases and feet. Also, switched to Nordost Blue Heaven speaker cable.

Re: New to the Forum!!
I am brand new to this forum as well. I have owned many Dynaco components. I regret selling my AVA Ultimate ST-70.
I just purchased a pair of Mark IIIs and yet another Pas 3X. They have not been modified and appear to be factory built.
Please give us a rundown of the parts and configuration of your Mark IIIs. I do not recognize the parts in place of your can caps. What boards did you use ? etc...
Looks very nice... Probably sounds better.
Regards,
dynakid

Re: New to the Forum!!
Got a new custom built tube preamp by Tomcat Audio that matches oh so well with the Dynaco's! Sorry for the crappy cell pic but the good camera is on the charger right now.

Hi All,
I've never posted before. How do you guys embed or insert a photo with your post? If you reply, try to keep it nontechnical, I'm a goober.
Thanks.
