I didn't know they were going to show it for FREE on public TV, this is amazing.
Roger Waters of Pink Floyd was AMAZING!! That was an easy $100 performance!
up later tonight, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Paul McCartney.
You can turn it off when Billy Joel comes on (I'm NOT a fan of his).
So I turned on my DVR and will enjoy it some more later!!!

Roy... I watched most of this last evening. After Springsteen & Bon Jovi (UGH) left
the stage...Clapton (Slowhand) gave those Jersey boys a lesson or two. The Stones and
Who also put on great performances. After that...It was all down hill.

Who invited Kanye West to this gig?

    Back somewhat on topic...

The challenge for me was to get the sound from the 12-12-12 concert TV feed on AMC into my ST120. I finally figured out that I could take the optical audio output from the TV, run it through a D-A converter (from Schitt) and into my amplifier. Luckily I had Bob's stepped attenuator option, so I could set the volume level just below the threshold at which the family would not complain.

What other options did you guys use to get good TV or internet feed sound for this concert?

I'm waiting for the CD or DVD concert disc -- some of the performances were absolutely terrific, especially the Old British Guys guitar work, Mick's hyperkinetics, and the Jersey Boys passion.

Check out Mick's "Top 10 Things I've Learned from Rock 'n Roll". #1: "You start out playing rock 'n roll so you can have sex and do drugs, but you end up doing drugs so you can still play rock 'n roll and have sex."

I'm glad I caught most of the entire concert on my DVR
Clapton was so smooth on Crossroads, too bad this video sounds crappy, it was really good on TV . . .. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4xUyPk54hI
