    Hello dear friends!
Recently bought and Mark4 Pas3. I live in Russia. Tell me whether there are and where to buy transformers to 240V. As long as I use a step-down transformer, but with it there is a problem with the playback of the bass.
    Sincerely, Alex

Are you talking about one dynaco pas3 AND one or more dynaco mark IV ( 4 )

    I might help with a pas3 transformer ...

    Hi Alex,

As far as I know - no one makes a 240 volt replacement transformer for the Dynaco Mark IV. I checked both the Dynakitparts and Triode Electronics web sites and neither site lists a 240 volt version of the PA-135 power transformer of the Dynaco Mark IV.

Are you sure that the power transformer is at fault? If you get weak or distorted bass from your Mark IV, it could be a ptoblem with the high voltage power supply. Maybe the quad cap is weak ? If it is an original Dynaco quad cap, it should probably be replaced.

Hi Bob.I do not think that the problem with the quad cap ... 2 amp play the same way ... the bass is not controlled, not articulated it very much.
How to determine the original Dynaco quad cap?
    Regards Alex

    Alex,

If you have a stock Mark IV with a stock driver circuit and the original 30, 20, 20, 20 uF quad cap, then uncontrolled and non-articulated bass is the nature of the amp. That is what stock Dynaco amps sound like ...

My advice is replace the stock driver circuit with a modern upgraded driver circuit.
