    ST-70 Noise

Post by Pillo69 on Sun Mar 10, 2013 11:47 am

    Hello.
When I switch off ST70 makes a noise (Plof) from the speakers.
    What could it be?.

Some ST-70's do this. It is usually a minor transient that stems back to the power switch. To get rid of this, place a .02 or .022 uF capacitor across the two terminals of the power switch. Any .02 uF cap 250 volts or higher should work fine.

Thank you very much Bob. I'll try and comment on the result.
    A greeting.

Bob, I have placed a .022 uF capacitor to 400 volts and has been perfect.
    Thank you again.
