    Question for Bob

Have you seen Joe Curcio's auto-bias circuit? I wonder if that could be used on the M-125.

I have seen the circuit. It would add about $90 to the cost of each kit or $180 to the cost of two M-125's. Personally , I don't think that the cost of such a board is worth the effort. On the VTA amps - once the bias is set it holds pretty steady. It also doesn't take much effort (less than 5 minutes per amp) once a month to check the bias and make a minor adjustment if necessary...

For what it's worth (you know what free advice is worth, right?), When I heard about Dynakits, I researched the heck out of them -- much as I could on the web.

My conclusions were that there are a few really great updated versions of the ST 70 (and related amps), and Curcio offers one of them. It seemed to me, though, that the VTA offering was probably a bit better. Or at least, for reasons I'd have to reconstruct, I set my heart on the VTA version as more desirable for me.

But wandering back to the topic, I'm sure the second that a viable, cost effective upgrade comes up that delivers value, Bob and Roy will see to it that it's included in their offerings.
