    This is my favorite version of the Mark III. It has Chart Chong's cap board:

    The ultimate buyer was so impressed with the specs, that he built two more units.(He also owned a Mcintosh MC-275 Anniversary Edition.)

    I built and refurbished quite a few amps and preamps, as a hobby, to try out the various sounds after I tweaked them. I always intended to sell all but the very best(to my ears.) Keep in mind that I wanted the buyer to have an easy sale, too and to be able to tweak the amp, too.

    You'd have to go to Orlando for the Mark IIIs...
