    New JJ ECC99 preamp tube

    Has anybody tried this tube? The add says that it can be used in some cases for a drop in replacement for 12bh7. I was wondering how it would work in the low gain VTA board with an upgraded power transformer?

    I also see the Electro Harmonix has a new 12BH7 for about $11 a copy. Anybody tried this one?
