Shielded hookup wire in SP14 preamp

Has anyone one used shielded hookup wire in their SP14 preamp and have you noticed any reduction in noise? I noticed the custom built preamp on the website uses this wire on almost all signal wire. I wonder where he purchases it from.

I have used solid core Teflon sleeved silver wire for the signal path and unshielded for the rest. It is dead quiet.

I originally wired my preamp with solid, Cat6 wire. I then re-wired it all with a stranded, shielded wire by Belden.
Everything else was identical, and I noticed a slight reduction in hiss. My preamp is in an open wooden box, so perhaps this is to be expected.

I noticed a further reduction in hiss when I got off my lazy duff and made sure everything was hooked to the same Power conditioner. Yeah I know, duh!

I have ordered several hundred feet from www.apexjr.com -very happy with it. White is listed, black if you ask. There are a lot of PTFE options on this site. He ships from west US.

+1 on "John's Silver wire" ebay store.  Lots of options (solid,stranded shielded etc) and most everything available in 3-5 (or more) colors and 10' length increments.
