    Balancing KT-88s in a VTA-70i Empty Balancing KT-88s in a VTA-70i

Hi, I have a VTA-70i and I received a matched quad of KT-88s for christmas but I cannot get them balanced. With the pots all the way down both "low" lights are still completely unlit. I have read that ST-70s running KT-88s need the R39 resistor swapped from 10k to 7.5k or 5k but I don't know how this translates to the VTA-70i and I can't find much info on this amp. Does anyone know what needs to be done to get the KT-88s balanced and where to find a schematic?

    Thanks!
