Right Angle Connectors Empty Right Angle Connectors

Post by Brap Thu Feb 06, 2014 6:17 pm

Was wondering if any of you have used right angle RCA connectors to provide a bit more room in the front of either amp when running the signal input RCA cables. Or, have any of you found good quality RCA cables that have a 90 degree connector at one end? Just trying to pretty things up a bit in a new rack enclosure and still show off the beauty of an ST-70.

    Thanks!!

    Brap,

Have been using two pair of gold plated right angle RCA connectors to route the cables under the amp toward the back to clean up the front appearance of my VTA ST120.  They work very well.  I have not noticed any degradation in the quality of the sound.

I use a pair of rhodium plated Cardas right angle RCA's on my amp. $26/pair.

    Anybody ever try these?

88% silver, and the flat cable should be pretty unobtrusive.

The Kimber cables are also quite flexible, but maybe more so than your wallet ...

Thank you kindly sir ... my vanity keeps looking for excuses to post up a pic here and there. clown

Often wondered why yall couldn't put tall feet on a stock chassis and add a small box for inputs underneath. Just leave the RCA's up front to keep em guessing ...

Anybody asks ... "What, you never heard of bluetooth?"  Cool

I've got two pair of the Blue Jeans 90s; one off the back of the turntable and one in the back of the phono preamp for tight spaces. They work great. Blue Jeans doesn't confuse "inexpensive" with cheap. These babies are hefty and have a gentlemanly firm grip. If lightning can travel at right angles, phono signal electrons probably can, too.
