Anyone who posts another go-go or disco tune on this thread will be given a fair trial and then shot.

To be fair, the boots pictured above obviously weren't particularly made for walkin'.

I'd say they were more made for the fashion of the time, which apparently was to walk out, rather than "Stand by Your Man".

Yes, it's a fashion that has not abated in popularity.

Nancy Sinatra will be 76 next month (June 8th) and has aged a bit. Maybe she will come out with a new version of her song >"With These Boots I Push My Walker" Recent photo below ...

Jeez....she looks okay for a 76 year old human being. She has a beautiful voice.

hear hear! She was, and still is, a special person.
I remember my parents playing her songs at parties in the 60's, dad even had a pre recorded tape of hers, but sadly, it has vanished over the years!
I played both sides of the pictured tape this morning, lots of memories!

Awright, I concede the Nancy Sinatra business and must admit I had a rather large poster of her on a Harley in my college dorm room.

    Back to music:
    http://damnbored.tv/pink-brings-dad-stage-music/
This rivals Jimi Hendrix's Summer Rain, written about the same time in the same context.
