ST70 & MKIII chassis etc Empty ST70 & MKIII chassis etc

well I picked an old ST70 and MKIII chassis off eBay for pretty good prices, not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, probably build a MKIII and maybe a ST120 down the road after I've recond' the chassis'.
I REALLY got the tube bug now....just terrible!!!  Twisted Evil

My custom SP9 has taken a different turn, totally re designed the chassis now, using a Hammond wood/aluminum chassis with custom front, rear and top plates, I'll also be using the same type of chassis for the Blonder-Tongue EQ build, I think once finished they'll look pretty nice!

As usual, will post photo's once these projects get going!

For the ST70, you might try:Dynaco Designs or ]DIY tube stuff or Dynamull and Dynamutt.

I've built all of these and several others like the Mapletree and Welborne, I liked the four listed above the best. I retained the Dynamutt, a very detailed unit.

Oops, and the VTA as a preference...

And as an added bonus, because of your choice of speakers, you can build those 'wimp' amps, e.g., GSG, Clementine, found on diytube. There's no end to the possibilities ...
