    Hi all,
    my ordered sp14 preamp just has comed and I unboxed it.
    But still not plug it to the electric power yet.
    I dont know it's elcectric power is 220v or 110v. Could anyone tell me.

    unless you specified 220V when you ordered the kit, standard is 120VAC 60Hz

    The power transformer may have dual primaries. On the Antek transformers for example, you can wire for 115 with the primaries in parallel, or 230 with the primaries in series.

    that is a correct point, I did not think of that.
    Not sure which model the SP14 uses. I assume it is the AS-05T240, http://www.antekinc.com/as-05t240-50va-240v-transformer/, it will take you to the manufacturers web site showing you the wiring diagram of that toroid transformer.
    You should be able to see details on the label of your transformer.

    I started listening from SP14 with dynaco st 70 stock mod output to my old klipsch la scala,
    it blow my mind.
