Hello, team. Just joined; my home system is a pair of Klipsch cornerhorns (home built 1980) Ev 18" dvrs, T35, T350),
Dyno ST-150, Pat-5 Bifet and a pair of Thorens TD 280 playing vinyl. I have built several Dyna SS kits in the past and now plan to build Mr. Latino's 120 on my own chasis on top of a Garrard teak wood table. Anyone near NE South Carolina pls

There is a world of knowledge here, so never hesitate to ask. There is no such thing as a stupid question on this forum.

Best advice I can give is take your time, use a hot iron, check off the assembly instructions step by step, verify, verify, verify, and pay close attention to first startup procedures.

Last step before power on should be going thru the instructions one more time, hauling out the magnifying glass for a close up inspection of each and every connection, and retouch if there's any doubt. 90% of any problems will be due to bad solder joints. My ST120 fired up clean the first time, and I owe it all to attention to detail.

Also, make sure you clip any extra off the component leads, especially around the VTA board where they can short to the case.

And yah ... Between Bob and the Board, tech support is hard to beat. The point to point assembly instructions will be even handier with a custom chassis as chances are good it won't look like the pics you see scattered about. Makes the interesting moments in the build a bit more interesting is all.
