    TUBE TESTER Empty TUBE TESTER

Post by MarcVBelgium Fri May 16, 2014 11:00 am

While cleaning up the "back-stage" of a HiFi-shop, I encounter several interesting
    pieces, like a Trio WE-24 integrated 2 x 10W tube amplifier (1960) and....... this :

This is really something, probably some 50-60 years old. It is not mine (yet...), I would'nt know
how to use it anyway, but it is definately nice to look at and "dream away"

Maybe some of you have some nostalgic thoughts with this..

    All the best

Just let me say.... In Europe, this is a mighty fine "find"... I've got it for free.....

I am asking around if someone can tell me how to use it... if I do, I will comment on that..

Hi Marc -- Take a look at the jvg link:

    http://www.jvgavila.com/tv7.htm

Some of these testers were made by Hickock and some by other companies.

There is also a lot of Hickock Documentation out there. The trick would be to fined the Tester Model that your TV7D/U is based on.

=====>> YOU NEED TO LOOK AT THIS PAGE:
    http://old-timers.tuars.com/tv-7du/tv-7du.htm

There is also an operation video for your D/U at:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WLaLFMh30ec

and another for the A/U model:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1s_Eyhx-Hvw

Like I said, lots on info out on the WEB,
    Stew
