How much effect on the sound in general do the driver board tubes have? Is it worth tube rolling here? It has the VTA 12AU7 board.

My experience is that it does have an effect on sound, though maybe not as much as tube rolling in the preamp. Try substituting something like a CV4003 just in the middle position -- that's what I did, and there was some difference. Also the Siemens E82CC tubes are nice.
