This is an ST 35 using old output transformers, everything else is new. The chassis is a Walnut frame with 1/4" Corian top and bottom panels.

It's several years old, from Triode I think.
If you are involved with HALG, you may be pleased to know I have one of your boards and have started the chassis.

    Oldtube,

I'm moving along slowly, but moving. I decided to align the transformers parallel after speaking with an engineer at Edcor. He said it was unlikely the hum would be audible. I've wondered for years if alignment of modern transformers requires the power transformer at 90 degrees. Perhaps I'll find out. If it is a problem I can reorient it.

Regarding your BOM. Does Mouser have a way to use it, or, is it necessary to submit a new list to order?

The BOM you can use the list I gave you, but we may face shortages as well. you know nowadays everything is in shortage. I've tried to keep up changing, but i figure is way too much work.
I thought that by keeping at least the correct part number people will find whatever they need.

Wow i see on the picture below that this is coming superb and high-quality design!!!
The transformer orientation is debatable. I see you have much bigger gap than i have on my wood Design chassis. At this way I believe you should be ok with that. Cross fingers so no more holes on this beautiful top plate design!

I'm super happy to see it!!!Very Happy Very Happy

Keep me posted, and for any question as well.

    cheers cheers cheers

Would anyone have suggestions for a preamplifier compatible with the ST35. I currently use a Tubes4HiFi SP9 with the Corian amplifier, but am thinking of assembling another preamplifier for this new amplifier. I prefer tone controls.
