Hi, to the A-40XL crossover guy...I had that speaker and loved it. The A-40 XL uses the same drivers as the A-25 Mark2. The A-25 2 uses an L-Pad in the crossover instead of the resistor switch. Here is a picture. Wayner, who used to work for Van AlStine said that the coil was .75 henri's if thats the right term Henry. I hope this helps you. The L-Pad on these has the feel of a switch used on a Ferrari or the Apollo LEM...if I ever got to turn one of those.....Mark Korda
