    I third the tube buffer!!

Maybe also, with a high quality attenuator and a switch to toggle between two inputs!

Gregg - that's called a preamp LOL - just keep it simple, one set of inputs/outputs, unity gain and a power switch!!

    Good looking tube crossover.

I Bi-Amp my Bozak speakers with the factory style crossover, they cross at 400Hz. I'm so interested in this.

On the web page is states:

Our new circuit board takes the original schematic and makes an EXACT CLONE of the entire circuit.

I'm looking to see the original schematic. Never heard of it before.

It would be nice to compare what I have with this.

On the XO page it states:

Output is set to 300Hz as a standard, but can be easily changed with ten resistors on four DIP sockets.

I'd like more info, either here or via PM or Email.

    Thanks.

I want my tube buffer with an attenuator and a switch to toggle between two inputs; I don't need any gain beyond unity. Then I can sell my Grace M920 since I only use one feature. Call it a tube buffer or a basic preamp, I don't care!

Boy, howdy! It would be nice to see a simple active tube crossover. I've done some reading (I'm not an EE) and there was an interesting article by Pete Millett that described a public domain curcuit, but he wasn't very happy with the end result.

I've had some great results with bi-amped systems in my years in the car audio biz. My finest system used an Alpine 4-channel amp with active crossovers, and it sounded just like my home systems with acoustic suspension speakers. But I've never been a big fan of seperate woofers/subwoofers in home audio, where there are no space constraints that call for a single woofer.

I know there are plenty of solid state crossover devices out there, but a paucity oftube devices. My vision would be to be able to use my ST-35 for the tweeters and my MK-IIIs for the woofers, crossed over higher than a subwoofer, maybe around 1Khz.

Come to think of it, I could use two outputs with a toggle switch. This would allow switching between an ADC/recorder for ripping vinyl and a headphone amp for late night listening....

Would like to see a tube buffer kit in that same black box enclosure. Maybe design it around a popular tube like a 12AU7/12BH7 or 6DJ8/6922 since those are already used in some of your other kits.

Consider me signed up for the first one!

I'm not sure I can fit a TUBE buffer into that same small box, it's only 6x6", but definitely into a larger 8x8 or 8x12" box.
I have all the parts here, so email me and we'll figure it out.

    Hi Roy,

Was thinking on the lines of one of these with two outputs and a toggle switch:
