    I stumbled on a thread at [url=diyaudioprojects.com]diyaudioprojects.com[/url] that discussed using an 807 in place of 6L6 using a socket adapter. If one were able to find matched pairs of 807s or ATS25s could these be used in the VTA ST-70 kits. Also wondering if anyone has tried this?

    Why ?
    There is no shortage of EL34, but 807 has not been made for several years and the
    quality of the remaining diminishes as all the good tubes are used. Whats left is the
    remains that has been rejected ( but not scrapped).
