    Great Speakers for VTA ST-70

I just thought I'd throw this out for what it's worth--I have a Bob Latino built ST-70 that I run with Gold Lion KT-66's, and the Tannoy Mercury F4 Custom is a match made in heaven for this amp. The speakers aren't very easy to find in the U.S., but they're also not very expensive and they're very easy to drive, with a high sensitivity and high minimum impedance. They made a really great match for the amp. I used to sell high-end stereo so I've heard a lot of things. I've even had several different pairs of speakers here in the house (including Dynaco A-25's!) since I got the amp and I just can't find anything I like better. The speakers don't go well with everything by any stretch, but there's a really nice synergy here. I'm not saying they're the best for the amp, I just thought I'd throw the recommendation out there in case anyone is looking for speakers to listen to that are a good match for the amp.

    Here's a link.

I completely love the amp by the way.

No connection to either company except as a customer.
