I recently got a pair of W70e's which replaced a pair of Dahlquist DQ-10s. And, I'm using them with a pair of VTA M-125s. I'm really pleased with the improvement in sound especially in the bass. I did change the crossover capacitors to paper-in-oil based on recommendations I've read on the internet. I listened to the stock crossover for a while before I made the change and can say that it is an improvement. The sound is now smoother and, to my ears, more pleasant for listening. Also, after experimenting, I took 2 tubes out of each of the amps and now use the triode mode. I'm very happy!
