    Hi

Have you ever tried KT 77 tubes in a vta70?
I ve read lots of reviews about the magic that they
    produce.Is that true?

    Hi Kost,

The JJ and the Gold Lion KT77's are both very good tubes to use in any ST-70. The JJ's are a far better value at $80 - $90 for a matched quad. The Gold Lion KT77's are double the price of the JJ's. The KT77's seem to have a little better bass than EL34's.

JJ did have a problem a couple of years ago with undersized pins on their KT77's but I have been told that this problem has been taken care of.
