Kiwame rebuild of my Mk IIIs

Post by WLT on Sun Mar 04, 2018 8:40 am

Another rebuild of the MK IIIs. this time I tried the Kiwame 2 watt for all except the bias supply. Those stayed as metal films from the last rebuild. Photos at https://photos.google.com/album/AF1QipMFrICZZF9SoDDsBoXd_ytCkgvqtywOdDtfPJ-k

Both amps sound great and are very stable. They have equal output and sound the same. Very smooth, clean and detailed.

Did I post the picture link properly? I have not done this before and I am not sure I did what was supposed to be done. Comments welcome please.

Thanks for the response. I will try to insert the photos here. Updated with PIO caps this last week
