Does anyone have any information regarding the 6GB8 tube? From what little I've been able to find it's regarded as a sort of uprated EL34 (likened to an 8417) made by Toshiba/Japan. Triode Electronics has data sheets up, but I'm afraid my Japanese character knowledge is nonexistent:

Anyone here used them? Is the pinout identical to the EL34?

They sell EL 34 to 6GB8 converters for these so I assume the pinout is different.

I have 5 of these coming in and have ordered some 6GB8 to EL34 adapters - thought I'd bump this up to see if anyone has used the 6GB8 in place of EL34s in a Dynaco amp, and if so how you did you bias them?
