Rewinding Dyanco power transforemrs Empty Rewinding Dyanco power transforemrs

I have two P782 power transformers that have shorted high voltage windings. Does any one do rewinding of these Dynaco power transformers? I see where I can buy new ones at Dynakitparts.com for $125. Seems reasoanble but I hate to dump these old trannies if someone can rewind them to the correct ratings for a similar or lower cost.

I took them apart to see if I could find the defect. I went far enough to know if I went any further I would be wrecking the winding so they are not repairable as is.

I also have a nice Z565 output transformer with an open winding on one of the screen grid connections. Would these be repairable/fixable as well?

    Thanks in advance

Qualification: I have not used either. However, I know individuals (mostly musicians) that speak well of both. Note that Blue Glow is in transition at this moment, so the endorsement is once-removed.

Mark has purchased all the equipment and notes to start the transformer business, but has had a heart attack so I wouldn't expect anytime soon he will be offering this service.
