    My GSI-ST-70 Empty My GSI-ST-70

Two summers ago I was chatting up a guy in the local SA and mentioned how much I wanted to get my hands on a Dynaco ST-70. He offered to sell me his which had been sitting in his storage locker for 10 years. This is what I picked up along with a load of other goodies:

I almost didn't buy it because it didn't look like the image I had in mind from the one I built in the '60's. Boy, am I glad I did. Turns out it was hand built by Andy Fuchs sometime in the 1980's. The only thing I did was upgrade the caps on the driver board and installed some bias test points on the front.

Lo siento. I changed web hosts and am building a new way to wire up my photo galleries. I forgot to upload my Dynaco folder but did so just now. I've since had some work done and need to update the photos. I'll do that soon.

As promised, here are the updated photos. It turns out that the fuse was disconnected from the circuit when I bought it. That wasn't discovered until something shorted and and fried the photoflash caps and the output trannies. We had to track down Andy Fuchs and he was happy to spend a little time with my tech to get it running again.
