Who favors that special speaker that they most enjoy or could recommend.
    I run a pair of vintage 1980's A/D/S L710's a little bright but I like them.
    thanks scott

    Scott,

Check out the Axiom Audio speakers. They are very good quality and sold direct to the consumer from Canada. Good sounding speakers at a reasonable price. If you don't like the sound you can send them back within 30 days and get your money back. You just have to pay the return shipping charges. Link below ..

I would also check the USED speakers on Augdiogon. The only catch is that unless you find speakers that are geographically close to you shipping charges could wipe out what would be a good deal on a set of used speakers. Most people sell their speakers on Audiogon to upgrade to a better set of speakers so your chances of getting speakers that don't operate as they should are pretty low. Check the link below for used speakers on Audiogon. If you find a set that might be a good buy then do a Google search on reviews of that speaker model. I have two pair of Tyler Acoustics speakers that I bought off Audiogon at a good price.

I would also check my local Craigslist if you are in an area that has one by you. I picked up a perfect pair of Klipsch RF-5s for $450 dollars on mine.

I have purchased many speakers on Craigslist. I have a pair of Dynaco A25's connected to my ST-70 in my living room.

If you want vintage, which is what I prefer, you can but a pair of KLH 5's or KLH 6's for less than $100 a pair. Great sounding speakers. Just make sure the tweeters are ok as it seems that is their weak point. If you buy a pair of KLH 6's, make sure they are the later made set with screw in woofer and tweeters.
