Just purchased a pair of Dynaco Mark 6 120 watt monoblocks

I was lucky enough to find a pair a Dynaco Mark 6 tube amps for sale locally. They are heavy SOB's at 55 pounds each. Unfortunately they are missing the 8417 tubes but I may convert them to run on 6550's or KT88's.

I'll post photos of them later this evening.

    HI
I think i read some were here that it is not possible to do that.

    but you can do this.

    This is a cool rebuild.

Here are 3 photos of one amp. I have KT88's in them, the MK 6 needs 8417 tubes but a simple mod will make the KT88's work.

It's a shame that the previous owner didn't take care of them Shocked Seriously, do they look as good in person as they do in the photos? I've only seen photos of these. Why are there two RCA inputs?
