I am having a heck of a time finding 10k and 15k 1w resistors to finish up the bias circuit on my ST70. I went to an old tube guy yesterday and he gave me a 10k and 15k but they are like 10 watts...huge actually, but he says just put them in and let it rip...seems like a bit of overkill, but if they work what the heck...will do this to compensate for the voltage change in adding the diode. Whaaddya think? Thanks....IA

5-10 w resisters
Google the phrase - 1 watt resister. There are tons of sites, starting with Parts Express.

Re: 5-10w resistors?
you can also use resistors in parallel. for the 10k you can use 2 20k 1/2W resistors in parallel to get total 10k@1W. same for the 15K, use 2 30k 1/2W to get total 15k@1W.
