This Bob Carver amp is just nuts... Shocked  I would not like to get the bill after retubing the pair.  Also imaging tube swapping trying to isolate a problem... Oy vay!   But is impressive to behold!

This is Bob Carver as P.T. Barnum!
In one of the videos on his website he thanks "Desiree's House of Massage" for her participation. Classic Bob Carver!!

Trying to remember the make of an amp I saw a while back that had three banks of power tubes ... one vertical and the outside banks angled out, all mounted on a chrome riser ...

    Anyone?

Carver has a tendency towards ... excess. I've got a C4000 preamp on the rack here, ready for some TLC ...

    Elephant Cojones !! C4000-benched

Kinda like the Swiss Army Pre ... one of everything.

Never saw one come in for repair in ten years........
Bob carver run most of his tube amps in tetrode not UL or triode.....an the output tubes are ran at over 700VB+...On the plates of the output tubes....but the sreen are ran at a low 370 B+...The tube Run vary Cool.... outputs have long life..
