    Has anybody had experience with the 6GH8 tube adaptors for ST-70 amps? If so, how does this set-up compare with the original 7199 tube configuration? Many thanks for your input!

    I have tried Dynakitparts.com 7199-6GH8 adapters on a ST-70 without any problems. There was no difference in audio quality between the 7199 and 6GH8 tubes.
