Mark III PS question Empty Mark III PS question

Post by snav Mon Aug 29, 2011 3:52 am

For a Mark III power supply cap replacement, I have a choice of values to use at the output of the choke and while I've seen mention of how much total storage aftermarket amps use I'm wondering how much is enough and how much is overkill/wasted? The Authenticap has 80uf vs stock of 30uf. I've seen references to an array of values so I'm hoping someone that has worked on more than one can help. My current choices in the space I've picked are 75uf, 110uf or 140uf.

Thank you, I shall use the 110uf value.
