    Sorry about that. Still having a balance problem with my st70 . Changed the cathode resistor and tube sockets. Still plays as if balance is set to the right channel. Ideas?

    Questions ...

    1. Is this a stock ST-70 with the stock driver board ? If it is you should replace the board. The board and the parts on the board are 40 to 50 years old and parts don't last forever ..

    2. Have you tried swapping the two 7199 driver tubes left to right?
