ST 70 Upgrade Capacitor Option Empty ST 70 Upgrade Capacitor Option

    Post by Mike16W Fri Dec 28, 2012 11:33 pm

I built my ST 70 kit some time ago and do not recall if I installed the capacitor upgrade option on the circuit board. Can someone tell me what values are included in this upgrade?

    Thanks

Check the values of the four electrolytic caps on the back edge of the driver board. If the two center caps are 100 or 120 uF, you have the power supply cap upgrade. If they are 22 uF, you have the stock power supply caps. The two outer power supply caps are 47 uF on the cap upgrade.

Thanks Bob, It looks like I had already purchased and installed the capacitor upgrade.
