Alternate Power Supply for PAS 3X

I'm curious about alternate power supplies for the PAS 3X using the tubes4hifi TCLA line, and phono upgrade boards. I've looked at the tubes4hifi offerings, and the Triode board as well as a new transformer, which seems to be adequate for only 4 12AX7 tubes. but am curious about others, including solid state.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you. Are you using these upgrades with the tubes4hifi TCLA and phono upgrade boards? And, if I may ask, why did you choose these?

I chose to use the CV PAS upgrades primarily because their documentation was readily available.

The PAS transformer was designed to handle the current requirements for 4 tubes. Most of the phono+line preamp designs I see use 6-7 tubes. You can "get by" with running 6 tubes on the original trans but overheating becomes a concern. I opted to use a regulated supply and an after-market transformer.

Tubes4hifi also makes a regulated supply for the PAS (transformers included) if you're not adverse to drilling mounting holes.

I have upgraded my PAS 3 with the TCLA board, the PH 10 phono board and the Regulated Power Supply, all from Tubes4hifi. I couldn't be happier! In addition to the quality of these boards, the individual help from Roy has been invaluable. I doubt that you would get the same level of knowledgeable support anywhere else. You can get by with drilling only a couple of holes - less than 5 minutes work. The new power supply runs cooler and eliminated my concern about overloading the old transformer. The new supply has two transformers. One for filaments and one for high voltage

KYGEEZER is the man!   anyone who wants an upgraded PAS3 should look at these latest 3 upgrades, for the ultimate PAS3 preamp!
The new power supply is simple, easy to install, works great!  The AIKIDO line stage, nothing better anywhere.
Same with the PH10 phono section, nothing better anywhere.   What can I say?  Try it - you'll be happy!
