    I bought vta70 kit with cap upgrade for bob. My friend test his original Dynaco ST-70 with my vta70.

    My VTA70

    DEAD quiet clean and clear pronounced midrange, great soundstage and increased clarity, punchy low, but a little bright. my amp 2 weeks old. not break in yet

    After A/B test i ordered vta mod PCB for him.

    he was happy with the results.

    MULLARD DOUBLE SHIELD 12AU7 middle
    RCA 12BH7 on side
    Russian K40-Y PIO Paper in oil coupling caps

    TUNG SOL EL34B
    Sovtek 5AR4 (with diode mod)
