Just picked up sca35 all tubes power up except one 7199 . I have tried swapping positions ,same problem. Any ideas where to start tracing problem .

What do you mean with "power up" ? Is the filament not glowing on one 7199 ?
Is it located to the socket or does it follow the 7199 ?

If you mean one socket then leave the tube out and test to see if you have filament voltage. [Must test from the top to find out if it is rust inside] If you do not have voltage it must be the socket or a wire [solder joint] between the 2 boards.

Checked voltages at both 7199 tube sockets both check out ok. Swapped out the 12ax7's with different set of tubes . Problem solved
