Just in from Ukraine... Put them in my Jolida JD9 because I had the room:)
They sound awesome so far, but I'm sure it will improve in several hundred hours.
They replace Mundorf Premium 1.0 uf with a Vishay cap, that combo sucks in my system,
bloated bass, dull and lifeless. Prior to that I had the Obbligato Gold set-up that sounded
excellent. These big as* greenies sound better starting out. Time will tell.

What kind are they? Info I have says "75" is "combined" internal materials, but doesn't say what dielectrics are combined.

    Any ideas?

They are Russian Military K75 caps. A much larger version of the KY40 series that I have
in my MK3's that came fro Bob. I put a set in my pre-amp last night and I can't believe the difference.
Can't wait to get them broken in.

Well as it turned out the K75 caps are paper+polyethylene (Mylar, a.k.a Lavsan in Russia) in oil, according to my former Soviet Bloc sellers.

They've been well reviewed in other fora.  cheers

I can tell you they made a marked improvement on the clarity and imaging immediately.
If you have the room I would suggest trying out a pair, at this price it's hard to beat.

I decided to try these after a lot of research on the DIY boards.

Thanks for the link.  I just ordered a total of 50 various value caps for $72 + shipping!  PIO, teflon, new, old.  Pretty sweet deal.  I can't wait to experiment with them.

Let me know what you find with the others. I'm still impressed with the K75's. Are you going to bypass with another .1 uf?

At line levels I'm not a fan of bypassing. In my experience it clouds the sound. I find bypass caps more effective with large power supply caps as well as caps in speaker crossovers.
