Post by Maintarget Wed Feb 24, 2016 6:04 pm

Any suggestions on DIY shorting plugs, I goggled and some just say ground body to pin on RCA plug others suggest using a a resistor between the two
I will be using these for unused inputs on my SP-14
    Thanks

you should not have to worry about plugging any kind of shorting RCA plug into un used inputs....when not selected, they are not going anywhere. And even when you rotate the selector switch through an unused RCA input, makes no difference.

I recall my ham radio instructor saying "electrons won't go into it if they can't get out of it."

Exception would be if you're using RG cable on, say, a CATV splitter. Good to short the unused inputs as they will pull RFI into the system.
