I pulled the rear tubes and the hum decreased quite a bit, before I could stand in front of the speaker and hear the hum now I need to put my ear next to the speaker. Could the transformers be inducing hum into the rear tubes? Off to Amazon to buy some lead shielding, they have everything.

Have you tried different tubes?
