SP-14 new build Empty SP-14 new build

While I've built several of these for customers, I haven't spent much time with one in my system.

Big mistake - It has taken my already great system (M-125s, Magneplanar 3.6/R, PBN Montana EPS speakers, Thorens table etc) to a new level.

Bass, highs, soundstaging, imaging, dynamics - all superb!

Made the Beach Boys' Good Vibrations sound like a choral work with a symphony.

Buy one from Roy with absolute confidence.

    Bill

seems like about 3 years ago I posted somewhere on this forum that if you haven't heard an SP14,
you need to stop right now and buy one, don't even ask questions, just do it. Sell whatever it takes to afford it.
You'll get more pleasure out of your audio system than you ever could have imagined for under $5000.

So I can basically get the PCB kit and fabricate my own chassis?

I'd like to "up vote", "thumbs up" or "like" Bill's comments on Roy's SP14. It is a fantastic pre-amp. Truly exquisite.

I second that emotion, and by all means get the octal version.

Nice to see these comments since Roy will be sending out a board (& associated parts) for me on Tuesday.
