Looking for any mods for the panel octals where the bias was read prior to autobias board. After installing the autobias board the front octals are no longer needed. Is anyone utilizing the space for meters or status LEDs? Even something cosmetic, since the connectors were the ugliest thing on an otherwise beautiful amp.

if one could figure the voltage/output level where it starts to break up / distorts the output signal, and work out that voltage point to be a lil circuit enacting a VU to be at 80%, and put that in the right octal hole
then do something similar for the input(V/ input level point of over driving) and put that in the left octal hole
well....... they would be my hero!!

I would leave them connected. Whenever you are unsure of the autobias it is only a fewdacer38 wrote:Looking for any mods for the panel octals where the bias was read prior to autobias board. seconds to confirm that bias is ok ( or wrong).
It's never wrong to have easily accessible checkpoints. If not needed - no harm done. But if needed
they are of great value.
