Vta st-70 bias adjustment Empty Vta st-70 bias adjustment

Post by Mrmky Tue Oct 16, 2018 4:24 pm

Hi all, I’m a tube newbie and just bought a Latino 70 second hand. To me it sounds fantastic compared to anything else I have owned. I’m sure this is a basic question, but how/where are the measurement points to check bias? Can I access them with out opening the amp?

    Yes, the front octal connectors.
One is marked "Bias set 1.56" , this is one tube on this side, the other is across at pin 5.
    Same for the other side.
