Is the SP14 Preamp Kit available with Exposed tubes?

After having to unhook, pull out, and open the case on my current preamp to test the tubes.
I've pretty much decided that the next preamp will have exposed tubes (not in an enclosed case).

That brings up the question of is the SP14 Preamp Kit available with Exposed tubes?

If one lives in a household without children or pets, exposed tubes are tolerable. Otherwise, not so much.

the SP14 preamp kit can be built into any kind of chassis you want.
Over the years I've tried several and the expense and labor of providing an open top for the SP14 is a hassle.
Many of my customers have built their own wooden chassis, and for that I can supply a custom sourced top piece cut to fit the circuit board.
Maybe one or two of them can chime in here and offer you something.
Likely you are still going to want a metal front and rear panel, plus a top panel to protect the internal parts other than the tubes.
So that adds alot of expense, plus alot of labor if you start with a standard wood chassis, you'd need to cut out the front and rear pieces
for all the RCA jacks and all the front controls.
I have one customer that sells the SP14 in the UK in his own custom wood chassis, for L6000, which is around $7500 USD.
But I'm not offering any chassis other than the standard enclosed chassis, if you want a FULL kit.
Anyone can buy any of the parts, after all, it's all DIY (do it yourself!)
There is also the option (not shown on my webpages) to order a 6" tall aluminum chassis (cost is $50 more than standard 5" and requires all new front/rear panels).
Also, I have a leftover wood chassis available for $400 including top plate, front, and rear panels ONE ONLY !!

I've used front panel express in the past, so they may be a good option to make up the panels.

That would also let me customize it a bit more.
