I've had my ST-120 for a few months now and I just love it. So I thought I'd continue down the vacuum tube highway. I ordered a PH-14 phono amp kit. I would love to see pictures of other builds. Post them if you have them. Specifically showing how the case is wired up. I have the PCB finished. I'm waiting for some coax and hookup wire from Roy that was missing. I have his newest case, all black. He calls it the "A" case I think with a LED switch and an AC input filter with an integrated fuse. I haven't been able to find any clear pictures of a wired up case. He mentioned in an email that that version doesn't need a terminal strip for the AC power. I don't see that in his instructions. So at the moment that's a little muddy to me. If you have any tips or advice on putting this together I'd love the hear from you.

Looking good. What tubes (brand) did you go with and do all 3 need to be matched or just Left/Right channel tubes ?

all 3 tubes are used for both left and right channels. In almost all cases, tube balance is close enough not to worry about,
but you can always special order "matched sections" for tubes

I prefer using NOS driver tubes and it's difficult to get a matched pair never mind 3 matched tubes.
What brand do you sell and or prefer?

I don't really sell tubes as such, although I stock a bare minimum as required to support the preamp kits I sell.
There are literally thousands of tubes available, hundreds of brands, and hundreds of dealers.
TubeDepot offers matching and balancing of tubes. NOS tubes are typically more than $100 each.
TCtubes offers tested vintage tubes
